Rules to be Applied in 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall Semester Final Exams

2020-2021 ACADEMIC YEAR FALL SEMESTER

RULES TO BE APPLIED AT FINAL EXAMS

  1. Final exams will be held in a supervised and surveillanced manner via the Zoom program.
  2. Zoom session information regarding students' exams has been shared via ERU FEAS ONLINE TRANSACTIONS SYSTEM (http://iibf.erciyes.edu.tr/online). Students can log in to the ERU İİBF ONLINE TRANSACTIONS SYSTEM with their 10-digit student number and their Turkish Republic Identity Number as the password. Students who cannot log in with their TR ID numbers can try to log in with their 10-digit student number as a password.
  3. Since students will only be allowed to take the exam in the announced exam hall, you should consider the exam room information shared via ERU FEAS ONLINE TRANSACTIONS SYSTEM. Otherwise, the student will not be able to take the exam.
  4. Students are required to enter the Zoom hall by arranging their names (STUDENT NUMBER NAME SURNAME). (Example: 1020117777 AYŞE TURAN)
  5. Opening a camera in the exam is mandatory for both proctors and the students.
  6. During the exam, students cannot turn off their cameras.
  7. Students should have working microphones, the proctor may ask the student to turn on the microphone when necessary.
  8. It is forbidden to wear headphones during the exam.
  9. Students must show their faces and student ID cards to the proctor when starting the exam. Those who do not have a student ID card can also show the printout of the student documents they will download through OBISIS. In this case, they must also present their official identity card.
  10. The student taking the exam has to write his/her name, surname, student number and the name of the course in which he/she took the exam from the "chat" section after the identification process.
  11. The exam will be recorded by the proctor.
  12. During the multiple choice online exams, the student only needs to keep the exam screen open. Switching to another browser other than the exam screen, opening another tab or using another program (except Zoom, where the audit is performed) is technically monitored and the exams of students who do these actions will be deemed invalid.
  13. Before the exam, students should make sure that the device (laptop/desktop computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) they will use has the necessary equipment.
  14. Students and proctors must have attended the exam session at least 15 minutes before the exam. Proctors will take students to the exam hall one by one by checking the hall list. Students who are not on the list will not be admitted to the hall.
  15. Students can take the exam within the first 5 minutes of the exam start time. Students who want to connect after the first 5 minutes will not be included in the exams. “ERUZEM exam system accepts a maximum delay of 5 minutes.”
  16. Students will be allowed to return to the questions in the exams to be held through the ERUZEM system.
  17. Students cannot close the zoom session until the end of the exam.
  18. Exam questions will be uploaded to ERUDM 5 minutes before the start of the exam and/or shared with the students by the exam proctor. After downloading the exam questions, students are strictly forbidden to deal with the device they connect to the exam, except to read the questions (This article is only valid for classical exams).
  19. In classical exams, the answers must be written on a blank A4 paper.
  20. It is obligatory for students to write their name, surname and student number on each paper used and to number the pages.
  21. In classical exams, when students complete the exam, they hold the answer sheet on the screen with the approval of the proctor.
  22. When the exam is completed, the answers must be uploaded in pdf format, in a single file, to the relevant exam title in ERUDM and sent to the instructor of the course by e-mail. You can use free pdf scanner applications for this (CamScanner, AdobeScan, TinyScanner etc.). It will be useful for you to try these applications before the exam in order to avoid any problems during the exam.
  23. The file name of the exam answers (name of the final file) should be arranged as "Student number - Name Surname".
  24. Once you have completed your exam, you must obtain approval from the proctor to scan your answer sheet.
