The Academic Council Meeting for the Fall Semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year took place on 18.01.2024 at 10:00 am at the ERU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Conference Hall with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih ALTUN, our Dean Prof. Dr. Faik BİLGİLİ, vice deans, faculty members, administrative staff, and students.

The Academic Council Meeting, which began with a moment of silence and the national anthem, followed by the opening speeches delivered by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Faik BİLGİLİ, and our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fatih ALTUN. Following the opening speeches, academic staff members who underwent a title change, namely Prof. Dr. Cüneyt DUMRUL and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet COŞKUN, as well as Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Seyda OZAN, who recently joined our faculty, were conferred with academic robes by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fatih ALTUN, and our Dean, Prof. Dr. Faik BİLGİLİ. Then, plaques were presented by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fatih ALTUN, and our Dean, Prof. Dr. Faik BİLGİLİ, to faculty members who published articles indexed in the Web of Science (WOS) and applied for TÜBİTAK projects after June 21, 2023. Following this, students who applied for the TÜBİTAK 2209 A/B Project in the 2023/2 Term, along with their academic advisors, were awarded certificates of appreciation by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fatih ALTUN, our Dean, Prof. Dr. Faik BİLGİLİ, and our former Dean, Prof. Dr. Şaban UZAY. Students whose TÜBİTAK 2209 A/B Project applications were accepted in the 2023/1 Term shared their experiences during the application process and after acceptance. After the students' speeches, a break was taken in the academic council meeting. Following the break, our Dean, Prof. Dr. Faik BİLGİLİ, and Vice Deans, Prof. Dr. Ayşe CİNGÖZ and Prof. Dr. Cüneyt DUMRUL, delivered a presentation on ongoing infrastructure improvement efforts, accreditation processes, and academic and administrative activities within our faculty.
