Senate Decision Regarding Our University's 2021-2022 Fall Semester Educational Activities

  1. Conducting face-to-face education activities in the 2021-2022 Fall semester,
  2. Conducting applied courses with face-to-face education; Face-to-face applied training can also be carried out alternately or diluted, with the decision to be taken by the competent committees of the relevant units and the approval of the Senate, taking into account the conditions and quality of the programs, the educational environment and the course of the epidemic,
  3. Conducting theoretical courses with face-to-face education; Taking into account the number of students, physical conditions and the course of the epidemic, it can be done on online platforms when necessary, with the decision of the academic units of our University and the approval of the Senate,
  4. Providing the opportunity to follow the lessons from the archive on online platforms for those who do not want to participate in face-to-face training among our students who only take theoretical courses,
  5. 5i courses (Ataturk's Principles and History of Revolution, Turkish Language, Foreign Language and Occupational Health and Safety) to be conducted online,
  6. In theoretical and practical courses where the number of sessions are increased and diluted group principles are applied, the duration is 35 minutes for each lesson hour, there is a 15-minute break and no block lessons,
  7. Seeking attendance requirement in accordance with the legislation in both face-to-face and online courses,
  8. Face to face midterm, final and make-up exams of theoretical and applied courses; Enriching the assessment and evaluation methods with formative activities for take-home exams, projects, presentations, quizzes and similar process evaluation according to the characteristics of the units and courses, and including the aforementioned term activities in the end of year exam results in determining the course success score,
  9. In order to carry out face-to-face education processes in a healthy and safe manner, encouraging our students, academic and administrative staff to be included in the vaccination program, providing access to all buildings with the HES code, and a COVID-19 vaccine card or PCR test with a negative result up to 72 hours ago.
  10. Masks, distance and cleaning conditions are mandatory in the closed areas of our university, sensitivity about fresh air intake / ventilation to the classrooms and laboratories and precautions are taken by the relevant lecturers, the instructors who talk constantly during the lectures can use visors instead of masks if needed,
  11. International students who cannot enter our country from abroad due to the global epidemic conditions, students with chronic diseases or whose families are in the high-risk group, if they make a request, their registration freeze requests will be evaluated by the relevant boards of the units,
